Sweeney’s offers four season lawn care services, from basic mowing to full service maintenance packages. However, if you are simply looking for a company to mow your lawn on a weekly or bi-weekly basis, we are more than happy to help and provide the best lawn care available!
Standard services include mowing, line trimming (i.e. weed eating), and edging. Typically, grass clippings are mulched and left, as this is advantageous for your lawn; however, grass clippings can be bagged and hauled away.

The major goal of turf fertilization is to produce turf that is both beautiful and healthy while being able to withstand the rigors of its intended use. Fertilization is one of the most basic and important components of a turf management program.
Turf fertilization contributes greatly to the color, density, uniformity, and growth of the lawn. Properly fertilized grass can out compete weeds and is able to recover more quickly from damage caused by environmental stressors than improperly fertilized lawns.
When developing a turf fertilization program, we consider a number of factors, including:
Weeds tend to thrive at the expense of lawns, flowers and shrubs. They compete for space, nutrients, light and water. To prevent weeds from germinating and growing, we use a combination of pre-emergent herbicides, which are applied directly to the soil along with post-emergent herbicides, which are applied directly to visible weeds.
Lawn aeration, or core aeration, is the process in which plugs of soil are pulled in an effort to allow better air flow, water, and vital nutrients reach the lawns’ root system. Lawn aerations help strengthen the roots and allows them to grow deeper. Strong, deep root systems means healthier, greener lawns.
