I’m still reeling from Sunday’s time change.  I’ve never been a fan of the “spring” forward initiative.  I feel as though I’ve been robbed.  Monday morning greeted me with sheer and utter darkness, which set the tone for the rest of the day. A small price to pay, I suppose, for longer days, which is exactly what our lawns and gardens desperately need.

In addition to the time change, the official start of Spring is a mere week away – March 20th.  Although it may not feel like it, the landscape season is just weeks away, and there is much to be done.  Don’t feel overwhelmed.  Sweeney’s is here to help, and we suggest the following services to get your gardens and lawns off to a great start:

  • Spring Clean Ups
  • Lawn Renovations/Overseeding
  • Mulch Installation
  • Gutter Clean Outs

Did you know you can always logon to Sweeney’s website to learn what you should be doing in your yards and gardens each Month?  It’s all here for your convenience:  https://www.sweeneyslandscaping.com/wood-dale-illinois-lawncare-landscaping-tips.html

Did you also know that by referring a customer who signs up for ongoing lawn service, you will receive a $20.00 Visa gift card?  It’s that easy!

In the meantime, we’re looking forward to the 2013 landscape season, and we hope you are too!

Have a wonderful week and a Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

“When after the Winter alarmin’,
The Spring steps in so charmin’,
So fresh and arch
In the middle of March,
Wid her hand St. Patrick’s arm on…”
~Alfred Percival Graves

Best wishes,
